Kansas | This fall I had a cow that got what my vet called woody tongue.
basically she had a swollen tongue and a bunch of cornstalks wadded up in her throat cause' she couldn't swallow!
So she could hardly drink water and was constantly drooling/foaming, she lost a lot of weight.
My advice to you is to get him into a chute and open his mouth, don't let him bite you ;), see if there is something in his throat.
