What is the best way to attach guard rail to old 8 inch pipe? Try to weld the guard rail to the pipe? Weld the head of a bolt to the pipe, slide guard rail on and tighten the nut? Blow a hole through the pipe with a 'blue wrench' (torch) then use a long bolt? Get a drill with a really long and sharp bit and start drilling?
