Pay weight on em was 721, then hauled 10 miles, incoming lot weight was right at 700 flat, and they weighed 827 when checked 30 days later.
It really does not matter much what cattle gain anyway...what matters is what they gain on an as fed basis per ration cost.
Calf gaining 2 at $55 cwt as fed, is the SAME dollar PROFIT conversion as a calf gaining 3 at $55 cwt as fed.
