once again another winter weather tonnage reduction effect.
Keep in mind, bad weather also slows down delivery logisitics and thus beef demand to a degree.
(alot of tough weather for the E / SE hitting em again...and there's alot of consumers there )
Could take a week, might take 3, but weather reduces supply while increasing "pent up" demand.
This is due to the fact that available stored stocks dwindle way down during tough weather and get replaced when delivery logistics make said once again possible.
Looks ALOT like a year ago.
Also exports running alot higher than 1 year ago too.
I'm thinking $25 cwt higher on fat cattle now thru spring. ( kinda like we did last year )
ps...Roy, we're gonna hit my $123 yet....just takes a tincture of time. LOL.
