Being located HERE I never considered the need to dry corn. From what I remember corn here becomes plenty dry seeing our corn is forced matured by our annual summer drought.
Grazing out corn really should be a money maker with the added cost to dry.

I am not real fond of annual crops. Plant it one time should last for a few years.
55 yeas ago I really liked Range Management.
If it were me I would use the corn planter to plant Eastern Gammagrass, and sell the planter. Use a spreader to plant a variety of legumes.
As the Eastern Gammagrass matures, you might want to fill your tractor tires with solid rubber.
