N. E. Indiana | Some people have no concept of cheating and this doesn't fall into that catagory. It is common practice to preshrink them and also keeps the trailer cleaner. People need to remember that these are not feedlot cattle for the most part and why spend the money time and effort if you are not going to do everythjing you can legally to win. There are a bunch that won't stop at the legal stuff but to my knowledge there has never been a rule against what you are wanting to do. My advice is not to feed anything but hay and pull feed and water away for 12-24 hrs. I know I will catch alot of greif from people that don't know and have no concept of what it takes to get to a showring and win, by the way I do this for a living and have to deal with cheaters all the time. No matter what all the blow hards and know it all say you are not cheating. There are people way more unethical and do things that will make your head spin. | |
