Hello Marco. I was also struck by the link. And no, it is not crossing a bull with his daughters. The link describes the process as used by Montana, Colorado State and MSU. As you say, food for thought on how to build from what you know and have if you have a standout bull and can select/cull. This is another reason why I think computer records are very important for cattle. I have a good customer in SD who often reminds me of what a good cross the Chars make with blacks or Herefords.
