Subject: RE: Questions on raising sheep

KS
I didn't think about the hand thing, I wear XL gloves, and no wife, this might not be the best combination. Feeder lambs may be a better way to try out sheep from the sound of it. I guess there is a reason I am not coming up with any information on dryloting ewes. I wish I had pasture that wasn't infested with coyotes, bobcats, and an occasional mountain lion. That could change things up some, but the hand size issue, and slim profit margins (if any it seems) from drylot are not looking so appealing. Thanks for the reminder on the mineral I could not remember which one it was you weren't supposed to feed. I know I have seen some ag college research on feeder lambs, I will find it again, and start running numbers.
