(You should understand, Gram had Parkinson's. She really "wasn't there" for the last couple years. Death was a relief and a release for her) The hymn just before I was to speak had a phrase that hit me hard. It sounded just like her. Just one phrase, not even a full sentence. I got up before the congregation and fell apart. The folks who cared understood. If you fall apart delivering your Grandmother's eulogy ... so what? Anyone who matters will understand. |
