just a tish NE of central ND
Sheep..... glad you were prepared and hope it collects dust most of the winter though. Ive been thinking about a better way to generate(25000 pto) but really never been caught in a hard spot in the last 30 years where we would have used it for more than 3 days one time. So one bad powerless spell would make me get set up.I like the automatioc thing. But standby doesnt seem quite as neesessary now since Dairy is gone and Im home anyway. but the beefers still need water so I still need power.
How much power does your house take for electric heat in total?
Our house is a electric boiler setup. It has three teirs of 15,000 watts each. I have one permanatly disconnected for the same reason you have a gas fireplace. and it still is overlaoded if it uses both. But the second elment only comes on if the first element cant keep up. Which it usually can.
