Well, it tis the season again.  Our electricity went out at around 9 PM last night and was out for about 3 1/2 hours.  This time we were prepared.  New automatic generator was finally hooked up 3 weeks ago and kicked in after 30 seconds.  Almost hated to call in the outage report since it was Christmas but I'm sure we weren't the only ones out since they only came to our yard briefly after the power was restored.

Trust me, after spending 12 days in one shot last winter on a 6500 watt generator we hardly even noticed it last night.  Money well spent.
