We had a black Angus breed 2 years ago at 11 months, of course she wasn't mature enough at birth and the calf was dead by the time we got it out. Learned our lesson there. All the others are in the 13-15mo range. If you mean time of year we breed them to calve 2-3 weeks before cows which means breeding in early-mid April.
