Franklinton, LA | Well, you have received a lot of good advice and several opinions. Now it is my turn to put in my $0.02 worth. You will be meeting a lot of new people in the next few months. After they see you, they will form an opinion of you, your town and your community during the first three seconds. In other words, you have one chance to make a good first impression. For formal occasions, you can rent a tux. For the more formal businees meetings, you can wear a suit (dress coat and matching trousers) with a dress shirt, tie and dress shoes. Cowboy boots should never be worn with a suit at a business meeting! I would not wear a suit without a dress shirt and matching tie. I prefer suits made of wool and perhaps a small content of other fabrics. For less formal meetings, I like a navy blue blazer or sports coat with khaki or dress slacks and dress shoes. I prefer a solid color dress shirt with or without a tie. Several people may not agree with me. However, this is my $0.02 worth of advice. | |
