The question I have is who got the cattle?

If they weren't paid for, where are they.  If I had cattle "stolen" via a bad check, I would be trying to locate my cattle and get them returned.  Just the same as buying a car with a bad check is theft.  I haven't heard one discussion about this in the news reports or elsewhere.

If you have cattle that weren't paid for and are holding a check or not, are you working to find your cattle and get them returned?  I think that would be my highest priority.
