Any tub is better than nothing. Sheeted tub is better than open.

Vet has a For-Most that is set up completely wrong (For-most rep even told them when installing) and the cows are always headed the wrong direction. For-Most rep also told me most people don't know or care about how cows naturally flow through a system. After studying lots of systems this summer I realized he was right by the way most companies have tubs designed (very similar to the vets). Soon to have a Powder River tub and double alley set up here, hope it works. Realy liked the WW tub with a 'V-Trap eliminator gate' but was too pricey for what I wanted to do.

We have one farm with a wooden curved alley that has 2 smaller pens feeding it from one bigger pen and it works great, better than most tubs I've been around. If I had plenty of time (to build) I would duplicate this set up on all our pastures.
