lincospectin isn't going to solve your problem I don't think. We have what we call infected corns and we do just what you do, wrap with oxytet because half the time there's a hairy wart there, too. BUT when they are real sore, and swollen, we give them Albon boluses. That usually helps. It says to withhold milk but our plant can never find it in the milk so.......Anyhow, even so the withhold is only 60 hours and meat withhold a week. but you have to give them for 3 days. That usually works. Years ago we gave them penicillin and that worked too but milk withhold is so long and meat withhold, too. So we don't do that anymore.
