high 300's or 410 lb range just wean em ( use some ddg's on the calves ).

Cows with the calf off, fatten up nicely with just sileage and hay.

On the 9 to come....yes a creep spot they can get into helps, especially in winter.

btw, if those are 8 to 10 year olds...they should be what we call "short solid" cows....means they still have a full mouth of decent teeth, ..just not "sharp solids" or "fresh solids" which is generally a 7 to 8 year old cow.
