| Starvation, I put 20 plus years hauling long distance livestock. (west coast, east coast, Canada, Mexico).
For starters, a lot of good cattle on the east, Buuuttt, the game in town is to sort,sort,sort, load, stop, resort, load,go stop,sort,load, go, call , call, call back in a hour, and so on. Don't get me wrong,a lot of farm fresh cattle from the east, went straight to usually the big feed lots.
My point, Eastern or who ever, would of , and could of, played their shell game on the west coast to, but the branding of cattle kinda stops a lot of bull **** stories from a fast talking order buyer.. west coast example, (say 80 head load-but 21 different brands with paper work)it's red light special!!!
freight, say 500 loads @ 2000.00 a day,= chump change, that is why truckers are on the 60,90 day deal,
after 4or 5 loads of eastern, I decided I wasnt going to be one of their taxi cabs, Banker.
Good riddance......
But i can understand why some one would prop up the organization again!!! | |
