for someone to assume thus take that future supply.

Likely mostly Superior contracts say $30 to $40 per head down to own em later.

As far as E goes...it's markup they'll never derive, thus hurts em more than helps any future potential profit.

E kinda looks to be one of those usa corp " draino " deals.
Some mortgaged hard assets left but cash and liquid inventory ( 120,000 to 150,000 cattle of the bad check cattle ) long gone.

This deal sucks.

Pretty tough to lose dough with a markup on incoming product going to customers.

Keep in mind this co was in business long enough that any lame ars lies like supposed reject cattle should not fly ( my response to that would be, "ok then, Where are those, too?" ),.

Reason is rejects are a percentage which the co would have factored into their operational ( and insurance ) markup long long ago.

Also, Superior cattle are sorted pretty tight by their field reps thus no rejects on em anyway.

NO good reason the E cusomers were not using direct wires / or ach transfers directly to Superior and other entities the E handled cattle were boughten from.

E could have put their fees right on the cattle where boughten, and gotten Paid by the seller of the cattle after the seller has the cash in.

E also likely picking up a bunch of the freight ( no other reason to own trucks one might assume ).

Buyer can pay em that on delivery, or also could have been billed out on the cattle to the seller end and thus prepaid by the buyer with a wire / ach etc.

As mentioned, appears to be a "draino" deal anyway....they'll get the numbers up there ( higher the better )... keep gradually greasing thee old hierarchy of various govt department heads that need greased, then take it ALL.

Everyone ( govt folks too ) flies down the road to the next scam...except the little man ( he ends up walking yet again ).
