Mascoutah, Illinois | I don't believe it was a call. It was a question with two choices. What are folk's thoughts and which way are they leaning?
Why are people so "testy" with corn well above $5.00. You would think someone tinkled in their Cheerios and we were trading back at sub $3.00 prices which happened less than two years ago. I guess everyone forgot about the ride from around $8.00 down to $2.80 in less than eight months.
Let this market keep screaming higher so I can read about folks bidding $500 for rent, NH3 back at $1200 per ton, and fuel over $4.00 per gallon.
Be careful what you wish for in commodity prices. The day of reckoning will come again. It may be twenty years from now, but it will rear its ugly head once again and take a few more out of business.
