JDWKY,
been long gold for ten years now, won't bail on my positions there and yes you are right, silver has probably got greater legs to it than gold. Smart guy you are!
My question is how do you manufacture inflation when government always seems to step in to put price curb controls on speculators that are doing as such and this is the only arena/ commodities, that is producing inflation of which the fED so badly wants?
They are doing this, putting trading constraints in Europe as the pi$$ing and moaning about food price escalation is taking place.
When will we be hearing that farmers are taking it to the Mexicans and there inabilities to eat tortilla's because of the price of grains, when will we be hearing the BS. about, "Its all about burning food for ethanol" the result of food shortages, when will we be hearing that its all about speculators that are responsible for these egregious run ups in grains bring the CTC in and lifting margin requirements out of stratosphere intermingling and manipulating our grains complex and taking away the supply/demand equation out of the picture?

Is it finally the fact that the world is in chronic shortage of just in time state of deliveries that have cause this situation? Is it because this credit crunch is still there reeling its ugly head leaving most countries going to the cupboard a bit late and scampering for whatever they can get before the prices move well north again?
