Subject: Stock market

N FLA
I sold the stock market index funds in my retirement plan on Dec 28, 2009. Put all the money into money market and bond funds. Have missed a few opportunities to buy back in at lower prices, but havent felt like the conditions were right. How does the stock market fit with the economic times we are in? Does anyone think there is room to go down, or do share prices have to ride up with everything else if there is inflation? I keep telling myself, that we are in for an 8500 on the DJIA, but it just hasnt happened since then. Economy still looks bad to me. Does this printing and borrowing lead to the market and share prices going up because somebody is actually getting the money and it flows into the economy somewhere? I know if you guys knew the answer, youd be on a beach drinking Mai-Tai's, but just looking for opinions. The stock market has seemed so disconnected/flat the last 9 months. They guys on CNBC just keep saying Buy, and nobody seems to be listening, not selling either.
