NCSD | I used to hunt with lots of the Java boys... Biels, Wolffs, Schnaibles, etc... when I was younger. Had some really good hunts.
Don't think much CRP has been plowed up in those areas.
One thing that may or may not affect your hunt. Areas that didn't have good winter cover were probably hit pretty hard this winter. Areas that had good winter cover/food sources should have incredible hunting this year.
Also... don't know if you do any deer hunting, but the chances of getting a monster whitetail will be probably be the best in the history of South Dakota deer hunting. I'm not much of a deer hunter, but I think this fall is gonna be crazy for record size bucks. | |
