Subject: RE: Soybeans?

While undoubtably there will be some tremendous bean yeilds out there in many places, I think everyone has forgot how many of them were planted late......way late, like double crop late on the first try. My trip through western & central IL on July 5th, I saw planters running in every county I drove through, planting for the first time. That doesn't make for records, imho.

IA will probably loose an extra 150-200,000 acres vs. normal, on harvested, by the final in Jan. But hey, that's only 10 million bushels or so. SDS will clip a bushel or two off a few crop distric's yld too.

Beans could well be the sleeper here.
