| I get what you are saying as far as competitiveness goes, but that also assumes farming is a get in/get out type business - rent a bunch for big $ while the price and fortunate marketing support it then have a farm sale when the market retreats and no long supports the model. On the other hand, as the price stabilizes at higher prices all costs go up, the consequences of marketing mistakes are far more serious than in the past.
