| I've been on the receiving end of one bankruptcy. From my experience, the lawyers will try to extract anything they can out of any party involved. In my particular case, I had a pallet of forage Sorghum that had been incorrectly shipped, and, in the end, I wound up paying about 1/3 value for seed I didn't need or want to get rid of the lawyers. There were producers who had provided seed to the company that were owed much more for seed than what their bill was, and the company went after them for seed costs and they stood no chance of getting money for seed produced. I'd imagine the same thing will happen here. They are going to try to extract whatever money they can from whatever source, whether it's right or not. Your best defense will be having your books well in order.
Oh, and this will probably go on for a couple years. What they will want to do, is try to make it more enticing for you to settle than to fight it. Legal bills add up quickly.
