West Ky | All I know is that the yields here are very depressing. I know of a few fields that are side by side with fields last year that were 150 bu/a difference. I have been told by other operators that some fields have been written off as total loss and it was cut as silage since their was not an ear out in the field. I believe it because when I'm driving the bine I can go for stretches and I can count the ears coming into the head. And when they do they are tiny tots. | |
