North Central Illinois | I can't argue with what you are seeing but just remember that there will be some really good corn in places too. I agree that things will be less than thought a month ago due to the fast finish from hot, dry, and windy days. How much remains to be seen. I talked with my seed DSM yesterday and he a customer about 15 miles west of me that did a field of 104 day corn over the weekend. 80 acre field went well over 200 dry. Haven't got a test weight or harvest moisture yet but hope to later today. This was on an extremely well drained and black piece of dirt that has raised 260 bu corn at least once in the past. | |
