most might think...when you take pics of em standing up ( which we NEED to see btw ).

You should not need a bull ( both these are likely P 1's ).

Most thin cull cows you purchase in the fall are bred.
Were sold because of age thus were replaced by younger cows by the seller.

For the price ( plenty cheap )...hmmm... I think pay your older guy say $10 to $12 per cow and let him keep picking away ( tell him you'd like another shot of beef in em thus he'll have a wider window which helps ).

Horns help you on the buy side...and the packer does not discount them on fat cows in the spring.

Those 2 cows look pretty gentle..they might fatten up quite nicely.
The cow with the off horn does appear to be half Durham.
