triple the numbers on strait grass then lighten up to double when the calves get to 750.

Or go with quadruple the numbers and supp with cottonseed, ddgs, or ground ear corn.

Basically figure stocking capacity by weight.
If You were running say 1 cow ( pair ) avg wieghing 1,400 for the season ...strait grass will handle 3 to 4 head of 400 lb calves for the season. Or 6 to 7 calves if your supping em.
