| As I said 2 months ago on this site 'this crop is in trouble'. 'I'm not selling until the combines roll'. .................Well, the combines have started in earnest in Central Illinois. AND THE YIELDS ARE NOT THERE!!!!!! Very few 200 bu yield reports, ALOT of 160-180 yield reports!!!!!!!! in areas where typical yields are 220-230. This crop finished WAY to fast. Very shallow kernal depth and low test weights are allready being reported. SO .... I have loaded the boat today with corn calls and WILL not sell another bushel until CZ hits $5.00. ( And in my opinion , that will happen sooner than later after these early yield reports become accepted by the trade. Just a head's up what is about to happen guys. Have a safe harvest. | |
