pallets never freeze to the bale My tractor tires are set wide enough I just drive over the row of palets all winter. The problem with pallets is they deteriorate and leave nails. I am going to retire a bunch with a big bonfire in a sink hole next spring. But still better than anything else I can come up with that doesn't use up grass space. Jim at Dawn
