Ground was being bought in the late 70 early 80 time period that interest per acre was more than gross per acre. Buying was based solely on expectations, that land values would continue their upward spiral, with little regaurd to income.. Not the same as today. Income per acre will support current land values, unlike the late 70 early 80 time period.
