USA | Would be interesting to look at corn yield graph from 1900. Income is the driver behind current land values. 70- 80 time frame was driven by speculation at the peak. If land prices today were driven by speculation instead of income, prices of ground would be a lot higher than today's values. There will be a blowoff bubble in farm land values at some point, but IMO we are not near that level yet.
