SE Neb | That was my thought as well. I keep wondering if I can find a cheap 48 spread that needs work or has a bad rear axle and maybe remove the rear axle and reman the rear deck to make a beaver tail like I want. My trailer is 20 flat and 4' flip up tail, it loads nice and yet makes for a flat deck to load hay on. I am not a big fan of flip up ramps as they always seem to be in the way ulike a ramp that can be removed and placed under the deck. The only drawback is the ramps are usually somewhat heavy to do their job.. The 36' trailer is really only a bit longer than my 24' gooseneck is so that would be a plus and the single axle would be a lot easier to get around with and easy on tires. | |
