Ottawa, Illinois | Corn no change on the sandy soil and 20% better on the good soil. I also expect corn moisture to be below 20%.
Somebody has to be an optimist. Seriously, the corn was planted early, we're getting the heat and decent rains.
Beans no change same as last year.
Any corn planted late around here looks poor, like last year.
We were fortunate to be caught up last fall and had the nitrogen on the fields, so we we able to get it done quickly this spring.
