West Texas | Theres 500 acres just north of me that is leased to an absentee renter. He hasn't had cows on it for about 5 months and two days after I moved my herd into the pasture adjacent to his lease, he moved about 30 cows and calves and two bulls in without telling me. needless to say, the bulls got to fighting and mine went through the fence. I called him and told him that I would get my bull out the coming weekend. He came up, and we used cake to get all of his and mine back on my side of the fence, (I had already repaired the fence) and then it was a simple matter to run them into a corral and separate them. I moved my cows and bull out of that pasture and will keep them out until he grazes his down and moves them out. | |
