last few years seems every acre possible went to corn and beans, plus no one seems to want to mess ( work ) with small squares.
Hard winter..and wet summer makes for short supply.
Paid 4.50 last winte for really nice grass / alfalfa
Tested a new supplier bout 10 & paid 5.00 last week for pretty nice, pure alfalfa....but it was wanting to get moldy, so aint worth a nickle.
What is the going rate on Small Square hay bales?
