swmn | im thinking about making some silage storage. we currently have a concrete bunker. looking for advice on pro/cons on bunkers or flat concrete pad. we milk 100 cows, do our own silage chopping and pack our pile w/ 5240 maxxum and loader. we also put silage on a pile on ground; too much mud this year. bunker i'm looking at is@ 40' x130' x 8.5'. with milk prices low its hard to justify but its also not fun in mud. what do ya think? | |
