Subject: Re: Just what does +/- 6-8" accuracy mean?

I'm puzzled by the replies here. I know of quite a few people around our area (C.IL) that ARE planting with WAAS and are doing it well I might add. Not sure if the equipment makes any difference or not. All the ones I know of are using EZ Guide + with EZ Steer. I see their passes/rows with my own eyes. They appear to be nearly perfect in my opinion and I've heard no complaints (after getting them set right anyway)

For those familiar with the Trimble line. Will the 500 do a better job accuracy wise (running WAAS) than the EZ plus? Thinking about testing the waters. Haven't seen the bad performance of WAAS around here at all. Curious why some can run it with no problems and others (from what I'm seeing here) may as well just drive them self.
