tc & all.

Don't get too worked up with the conspiracy stuff, reports are what they are fwtw. Ray, I'd guess, is nervous with Poet not in the market today, as they'll have local corn come fall, less than normal; but, a heck of a lot more than their neighbors to the east. He'll be trying to drag a bunch out of that neighborhood & the little there is east of there? Along with pushing the bid almost down to Pofarmer's area, competing against St.Ls ain't gonna be fun? Ray?

Buckster, it's not unusual for farmers with more than a 25K bu bin to have 25K unpriced corn in Winny, Kossuth or surrounding Co.'s on July 27, imo. Cultural thig? maybe? Certainly reinforced by the HTA fiasco of '95; but, a well known fact by most in the industry. Good crop coming all through that area, esp. vs. last year, & a lot earlier too. Whether or not it's as good (& So MN) as the mid-2000's is a bit up in the air at present, because of how it looks vs. last year.
