Southeast Colorado | If you're already sold out how did you know exactly how much to sell? Is some of your sell out a little speculation? The reason I'm asking is that I farm in an area of extremely volatile yields. We literally grow from 0 to 80 bpa wheat and 0 to 100 bpa milo. We are able to insure but that would know where even close to allow me to sell out in most years. I guess what I'm getting at is that your approach sounds pretty risky to me. Maybe I am wrong and you have a sure fire way of knowing exactly what you are going to produce several months into the future. | |
