Subject: Disenfectant for Finisher barns

Van Meter IA
Currently I am using Senergy and we have for the last 5 or 6 years without a problem. The last groups I ended up getting a horrible outbreak of parasuis/ strep. Thought that it was coming from the sows and that maybe wouldn't have it this go round. Well this morning doing chores( hogs come in at 50# and are about 70-80# now) I am noticing several swollen joints. My death count after this first month is 13hd. I am not that concerned with that number yet although I did start them on R-pen water today to hopefully take care of the swollen joints. The vet and are are thinking that maybe I have it in my barn now and are thinking that we need to use a different disenfecting protocol. What you use and have you had this issue before? TIA
