thumb of michigan | Awful expensive way to buy a tiny amount of acetone from Tower! Try the acetone in an inconspicuous place first. Don't use nail polish remover as it has oil in it to prevent brittle nails and might make a greasy stain. The acetone will get it out. Pour a bit on the spot and blot it up wit a white cotton washcloth. Don't rub just press and blot. Might take a few tries but it will work. I too used to build airplanes and boat too and learned the hard way. | |
