North Central MO | Lost workgroup connection on a laptop. Workgroup on wireless network, y2k desktop, 2 y2k laptops, xp home laptop, xp pro laptop.
The offending laptop is the xp pro machine. This is on an existing workgroup where everything has been functioning normal (if there is such a thing). All of a sudden this one laptop has decided not to be part of the workgroup any longer. It still has internet connetion via the wireless network but refuses to be a part of the local workgroup. Have looked at workgroup settings and everything still as it should be as far as workgroup name. Reset everything ...... repeatedly ......Even tried renaming the computer but still ..... no go ......
I swear .... not a day goes by that there is not at least one tech problem around here ..... sometimes ya just wanna pitch it all out ......... na ....... can't do that either
