what is the big craze for sweet tea? I for one like mine unsweeten and lemon or raspberry tea, what is the difference in sweet tea and putting sugar in it yourself? Bob
Adding the Sugar to the mix while on the boil, slightly Carmelizes the sugar, and adds a richer, more rounded "Sweet".
It's a subtle difference in flavor, but once you get used to it, you will find "Tea with Sugar" pretty much revolting.
Sweet Tea can be found in these parts of Michigan, but only in proper establishments.
Good Boiled Peanuts is what I miss.
