High Springs, Florida | I used to hate catfish, until I moved to Florida. For some reason it is much different down here, tastes really good. Wife and I were out fishing in the Gulf and we caught these salt water cats. Really ugly, and made a squeaky noise when you pulled them out of the water. I wanted to throw them back, but she insisted we keep them, so we did. Boy, were they good eatin!!! Even the freshwater cats out of the Suwannee and Santa Fe taste pretty good. | |
