| No special wiring needed. Phone company "hooked you up" on their end. You will need to install DSL filters in each of your phones, fax machines, ect - these plug in to your phone and the wire from the wall jack plugs into the filter. These will most likely arrive with your package from the phone co. We got four of them when we signed up. If you need more, contact them - they are not expensive. Don't forget phones in outbuildings.
Update your virus protection - NOW!!
As for two computers - you can get a router and wire them into a home network, go wireless, or get another modem for the 2nd computer.
Not much else. Enjoy the speed and never, ever, look back at dial-up!! | |
