Kingston, Iowa | I recently got DSL. It works fine but I am getting static on my phone line.
Back ground:
The original setup,
From Telco box on the outside of my house, I come thru with Cat five into a module that uses RJ45 plugs to patch lines to the rest of the house. The DSL Modem (Zhone) is in my office connected to router with all the cabling that came with it. I have filters that were supplied by the Telco on my cordless phone base and DSS Box.
Things we've tried:
1. Replace the filters
2. Tried a Corded phone
3. Wire around the RJ45 module with a terminal block. To provide a "better" connection. I'm a little bitter about this one because I had to cut off the perfectly good rj45 ends I had put on not that long ago.
4. Replaced the Modem, with new of the same brand.
Any Suggestions??
Thanks
Jason
