Couple question for you guys that know about feeding steers...........

     -At what weight will a steer have the highest daily gain?

     -What kind of gains are possible if everything is right?  Best possible ration, decent gentics, good weather, everything being right.  I'm not asking about aveages, I'm asking about the top animals at thier best gain.  I'm thinking if guys can average what?, 2.75 or 3 lb/day there must be some animals doing considerably better than that.
